Clear Vision, High Performance

Recapping the 2026 SuperGlass Convention—from digital transformation to hands-on mastery.

The 2026 SuperGlass Convention kicks off with a high-energy Welcome Party on Friday night, designed to trade the stress of the road for snacks, drinks, and desserts. As attendees pick up their exclusive Goodie Bags, the room fills with friendly competition during a round of SuperGlass Jeopardy. It’s the perfect icebreaker, blending industry trivia with the chance to snag some early prizes before the weekend’s deep dive begins.

Saturday is the heart of the event, starting early with a “State of the Union” style address followed by a walkthrough of the brand-new digital landscape at mysuperglass.com. The morning intensity gives way to collaborative Round Table sessions, where franchise owners can dig into the “nuts and bolts” of the business—everything from managing Hertz accounts and QuickBooks to mastering the art of long crack repair right at the windshield. After a full morning of strategy, the afternoon shifts into “Recess,” a hands-on block where the tech becomes the toy, allowing everyone to test out new developments and equipment on live glass.

The weekend’s momentum culminates in a celebratory Awards Ceremony and the traditional group photo, honoring the hard work of the past year before the sun sets on Saturday. For those staying through Sunday, the focus shifts to specialized mastery with a deep-dive Scratch Removal Training. The weekend ends on a high-octane note for the lucky few with a VIP Speedway Tour, offering a behind-the-scenes look at world-class racing—the perfect metaphor for a franchise system built on speed, precision, and performance.

"Good morning Superglass owners/operators. If you were unable to come to the convention this past weekend, we missed you and you missed a great time. I know that prices of everything are going up making it increasingly difficult to take time off and travel. Start today setting your sites on the next event. If possible, take a repair or 2 a month and set it back as a fund to get you to the next event, you won’t be sorry. Maybe you are thinking, there’s nothing new for me to learn…..great come teach those that are still seeking knowledge and training. This was David’s heart, that we get together like a big family reunion and help one another and I can definitely tell you Meghan Martin shares that same passion and it burns stronger everyday. What did you miss…..the chance to meet owners and bounce ideas back and forth, Hertz information that can change your entire airport dynamic, website and QuickBooks support as well as resources for seeking new professionals to join your team, long crack repair training, machine maintenance training, scratch removal training and so much more. Thank you Superglass for allowing my family to sit at the family dinner table this weekend. It was amazing."

This Years Award Winners

Peter Jakubowski is honored as the Rookie of the Year for his seamless transition into the SuperGlass system and his immediate impact on operations. A retired New York EMT with over 20 years of service, including responding during the events of 9/11, Peter brought a career’s worth of discipline and commitment to his new path in the automotive glass industry. Since taking over an established route from a retiring owner, he has navigated the transition with remarkable focus, successfully maintaining sales and protecting vital customer relationships from day one.

Beyond his initial technical success, Peter has demonstrated an advanced strategic mindset by already hiring an employee to ensure a scalable future for his business. His dedication to professional growth is further highlighted by his decision to attend the national convention during his very first year. By combining a veteran’s work ethic with a proactive approach to team building, Peter has proven that he is not just managing a route, but building a meaningful legacy within the SuperGlass organization.

Since joining the SuperGlass Houston team in October 2025, LeTrévyen King has quickly distinguished himself as an indispensable asset to the organization. He brought with him a unique background in glass blowing, a hobby that provided him with an intuitive understanding of how the material reacts to stress and heat. This specialized knowledge has translated into master-level repair work, allowing him to restore windshields with a precision and care that far exceeds standard technical training. His commitment to his craft is matched only by his professionalism, earning him the deep trust and appreciation of the customers he serves.

Beyond his technical excellence, LeTrévyen is recognized for his proactive spirit and dedication to the company’s growth. Despite the demands of his busy route and the responsibilities of supporting a young family, he consistently goes the extra mile by creating engaging content to promote the brand and educate his peers. His ability to remain adaptable and dependable in a fast-paced environment makes him a true leader within the team. It is this rare combination of technical artistry and generous team spirit that makes him the well-deserved recipient of the Employee of the Year Award.

Her ability to bring positivity and lightness to even the busiest days makes her a true ambassador for the brand and an inspiration to her colleagues.

By prioritizing customer education and transparency, they invite clients into the repair experience, fostering a level of trust that naturally drives loyalty and referrals. Quinton and Christelle have successfully demonstrated that when a franchise pairs operational excellence with deep empathy, it doesn’t just meet sales goals—it sets a gold standard for the entire organization.

Their growth strategy was marked by innovation and a “big picture” vision, allowing them to plant new seeds of opportunity and strengthen the SuperGlass brand footprint across multiple regions simultaneously.

What makes this achievement truly stand out is the profound resilience the Johnstons displayed while navigating significant personal hurdles. Despite facing obstacles that could have easily sidelined their progress, they remained steadfast in their commitment to their customers and their mission. This award recognizes more than just geographic growth; it honors their strength of character and the unwavering perseverance required to build lasting relationships and thriving markets against all odds.

The Phoenix, AZ franchise, led by Quinton Anderson and Christelle van Rensburg, has been named Franchise of the Year – West for their role as a national benchmark of operational excellence. Their systems are so disciplined and effective that two of SuperGlass’ largest national accounts requested their specific operations manuals to train their own internal staffs. This team doesn’t just run a successful business; they provide a “model” for the entire organization, proving that strictly following and refining the SuperGlass system leads to world-class results.

Beyond their local success, Quinton and Christelle were instrumental in rebuilding the company’s national relationship with Hertz. By representing the brand with high-level professionalism during executive meetings and technical demonstrations, they helped restore trust and regain a vital industry presence for the entire network. Despite these massive contributions, the Phoenix team remains remarkably humble, consistently credited their achievements to the SuperGlass training while generously sharing best practices to help every franchise succeed.

The Franchise of the Year – East Award is presented to Dan Scott of SuperGlass Atlanta & Gwinnett County and his partner Michael Scott of SuperGlass Melbourne for their extraordinary strategic turnaround and market dominance. After a period away from the industry, Dan returned in March 2025 with a “laser-like” focus and a disciplined game plan to reclaim his territory. Through relentless consistency—including visiting potential accounts multiple times per week—the franchise achieved the staggering feat of quadrupling its monthly revenue in just the first month of his return.

This partnership has since sustained that momentum, now invoicing over $34,000 more per month than when they restarted. By expanding their team to ensure reliable same-day service and leveraging Michael’s steady leadership and operational guidance, the duo now successfully covers 85% of their market. Their journey serves as a powerful case study in what happens when professional preparation meets genuine passion, proving that disciplined action and a commitment to quality can lead to record-breaking, long-term success.

Melvin’s leadership is defined by his profound character and resilience. Whether navigating extreme weather or physical challenges, he remains a steady, empathetic presence for his team, acting as a natural cheerleader who lifts others up during difficult times.
